Calling All Poets!

We’re seeking submissions for a powerful new book series, The RN Book & Real Knowledgeable, spitting an unflinching celebration of Black culture based in South LA with influences from nationwide.

What Are We Looking For?

In a collaboration with LA Native, Nerd the Poet, we’re seeking to produce The RN Book & The Real Knowledgeable Book, projected for an early 2026 release.

We are asking for poem submission now - November 15, 2025. Please see the criteria below:

Poems must include:

- Author Name

- Original Title

- 250 - 500 word count, single spaced

As a contributor you will get:
- (1) Author Copy

- An Author Spotlight on Our Social Media & Newsletter

- Invitation to the Book Release Event
